Rules & Regulations

Thank you for your interest in the ATLAS ISDI Inferno Design Festival. This Rules & Regulation outlines our guidelines related to event registrations, ticket purchases, and other services offered through our Festival. By registering for our events or purchasing tickets, you agree to the terms and conditions of this policy.
 

1. Confidentiality of College and Team Names
   Under no circumstances can the names of any college or team be shared by any contingent. This includes sharing the names on social media, in interviews, or in any other public forum. This rule is in place to ensure fairness and anonymity during the judging process. If a participant is found to be in violation of this rule, they may be disqualified from the event and/or have their submission removed.
    

2. Any comments on religion, ethnicity, gender, community or political party will not be tolerated
   It is important to create a space where everyone feels safe and welcome, It is important to remember that everyone is different and has different experiences, and it is important to be respectful of those differences.
   This includes, but is not limited to:

   • Making jokes or stereotypes

   • Making derogatory or insulting comments

   • Using slurs or other offensive language

   • Promoting violence or hatred
      

3. Obscenity, Vulgarity, or Misbehavior
   Obscenity, vulgarity, or misbehavior will not be tolerated during any event or in any submission video. If a participant is found to be in violation of this rule, they may be disqualified from the event and/or have their submission removed. This includes, but is not limited to:

   • Profane or offensive language

   • Hate speech or discrimination

   • Sexual harassment or assault

   • Violence or threats of violence

   • Any other behavior that is deemed inappropriate by the judges or organizers
      

4. Participants must go through the event brief given before the start of the event and read instructions carefully
   It is important to read the event brief carefully so that you know what you need to do to be successful in the event.
    

5. Appropriate Dress Code
   Participants are expected to dress appropriately during all events and in their submission videos. This means dressing in a way that is respectful and appropriate for the occasion. Clothing should be clean and in good condition, and should not be revealing or offensive.
   If a participant is found to be in violation of this rule, they may be asked to leave the event and/or have be disqualified from the event.
    

6. Alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and other illegal substances are prohibited on premises and will lead to disqualification if found
   These substances can all have negative consequences for those who use them and for those around them.
    

7. Finality of Judges' and Organizers' Decisions
   The decisions made by the judges and the organizers are final and binding. This means that there is no right to appeal or contest the results of the event.
    

8. Participants as Audience Members
   Following the event, participants will be regarded as normal audience members. This means that they are subject to all of the same rules and regulations as other audience members.
    

9. Additional Rules
   In addition to the five rules listed above, here are some other general event rules that participants should be aware of:

   • Participants must arrive at all events on time.

   • Participants must follow the instructions of the judges and organizers at all times.

   • Participants must be respectful of the property and belongings of others.

   • Participants must be responsible for their own safety and security.

   • By following these rules, participants can help to ensure that the event is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
